We have had a red smooth bitch and dog stolen. These pups are out of our last litter Blade x Scoot, born July 2009. We have managed to get the bitch back and she is now safe.

The dog remains missing. I don't have a recent photo of him but this is his litter brother and he will look very similar.

We believe that Fred Ball Jnr knows where this dog is but he is now refusing to return phone calls. If anyone knows Fred and can get any further information from him we would be very grateful - No questions asked. Any other information would also be gratefully received. Feel free to PM me if you prefer to.

We have to put an end to this dog stealing

Thats terrible news Paul, If you hear any news and i can help in anyway just give me a ring mate.

Folk who steal dogs are the lowest of the low, i know first hand what its like to have a dog stolen and it's not nice. I felt sick to the pit of my stomach. The police were a total waste of space. Unfortunately the bitch i had stolen was found dead 3 miles away on a railway track. The scum who had stolen her had been running her and she'd been hit by a train, She was missing 6 days and in those 6 days i hardly slept as i was out 24/7 looking for her. However at least i know where she is now.

The main reason why there are so many dog thefts, in my opinion is that there is no real punishment for the thiefs when they are caught. They just get there wrists slapped with a petty fine. If i was a judge i'd bring back hanging for the Bast**ds.

As i said Paul you know where i am if you need anything....

cheers

Mally

sadly unless you catch them in the act ;) , you won't get justice if they get caught police CPS and courts will always go easy on crimes like these and there perpetrators.

To me personaly its burgalry plain and simple anyone coming onto my property to take anything is a burglar and therefore presumed a danger to my kids wife dogs and posessions. However should I catch someone on my property I don't think I will be calling the police or any other emergencey services :ermm: if the conservatives get in with their new proposed 'mans home is his castle' ideas I wonder how long the thefts will continue?

Paul/Jo as you have a name would it not have been more simple to go to the police? from what little I know your dogs are pretty distinctive, and you have plenty of photos of them (as do all saluki owners), another idea is to post this on all hunting forums with a link to your email for any confidential info, plenty of genuine dogmen hate dog theives you might get a result.

Hopoer you can get a result from this awful scenario :)

My heart goes out to you - I cant imagine how awful it would be for someone to steal your dogs :(

especially with the risk inherent to the breed. A long time ago someone let one of my salukis out of the yard and she was hit by a train, it was an accident not malice but totally heartbreaking.

Hoping that you recover your dog soon and all is well.

This is very concerning. I think I have heard/read that there is a rumour of a red dog around Manchester/ Midlands way and I am wondering if they are targetting this one?

Paul really glad there was a good outcome for yours.
