haven't been here for a pretty while. it was due to the fact, that the iraqi partner had been unreachable via cellphone or email, so i didnt know myself a thing about the salukis.
could call him yesterday though! he had big troubles with his trucks stuck in customs on the turkish-iraqi border, and had no chance to get feedback on the pups. he promised to call in 1-2 days to find out more about them. according his latest infos they already have the bloodtest done, but i wanna be sure in that.
so, this is the status quo.

I would be a wreck with worrying if couldn't make contact like that, I would of thought up the wildest scenarios possible of what could be going wrong. I am born worrier! :HELP:

Fingers firmly crossed all will be well, I'm sure if your Iraqi partner say they have been bloodtested they will be and all will be good. :Good:

Hi, I'm curious to know 'the rest of the story' here. Did those saluki pups get to go to their new home?

yeah i guess i owe the current state of the story, its not really finished....
the salukis are still in Iraq, i had a dozen initiations on getting them home, but all failed, and my partner doesnt really seem to be in a position to get them to europe... i lost basically the hope, its been now almost a year since....
well, lets leave this open, though not too much stand for it... this it guys....

I think that can be the biggest hurdle in trying to import a dog. Even with good intentions to send the dog, it is a huge and challenging task to see it through. And few are up to that challenge. A shame to have your hopes dashed.
