shaairah,i'm agree with you;a long time ago,i had ask to german breeder friends about these import salukis, because i was interested; all say mix with grey; sure it's not a realy wrong things, and i can't verify this! but, at a LC meeting, european level, i had seen these ones, and i don't like their uncivilised and agressive characters; it's the real reason i don't like these lines; saluqi, have you access to the pics with the link mark put ? |

Saluqi: Ah, okay, thanks :) Saluk: It's one thing not to like un line or another, and quite another to imply they are not what they are said to be. Which import lines do you mean? The ones I've met in Germany and France have been very nice Salukis. |

Nina Adam bred from Bahraini, Iraqi and Turkish lines, sometimes mixed with Western lines, in France. She has not bred for a few years now, but I have an 8 year old son of two Bahraini imports of hers. If you are referring to Cyrus, many are envious of his fine Salukis and make idiotic accusations about them. The Iranians in Germany are fine Salukis. |

Yes, you mean Nuha, her Bahraini import bitch :) I have her son Muhafhaf (Sami de Hamadan) who's sire is Nina's other Bahraini import Dhahban, who is also behind some of the Volgai's Salukis :) Unfortunately Muhafhaf has epilepsy, so I have not used him for breeding, but he is a sweetheart :) I spent a week with Nina in Lorgues when I went to pick Muhafhaf up there in the summer of 2001 :) |

We have a realy good vet, and with medication Muhafhaf only has 1-2 grand mal seizures per year. When he became ill at 1 year old it was much worse, but we soon found the right medication. |

good for you both! muhafhaf don't have problems with other salukis ? about mine, i was obliged to keep her out of the pack most of time, because she could have a crisis at all momment, and all others fall on her and want to kill...it's a normal reaction on hound's pack, but no good for humans.... |

I never leave Muhafhaf home alone with the others, I either take him with me or crate him, and at night he sleeps next to me or in a crate for his safety, but otherwise he is freely with the rest of the pack :) If he does have a seizure they do try to get at him, but I don't allow it and it is fairly easy to avoid as he has only had his seisures when he sleeps. So, apart from not leaving him unattended when he sleeps, and giving him his medication twice a day, he runs, plays and lives normally with the rest of the pack :) |
