Not as far as I am aware, there was going to be a dog coming to scotland with a polish couple but I don't know if it ever happened.

I plan to import my next dog and it will be either a Taigan, Kurdish Saluki or a Kazakh Tazi.

The coat does make the Taigan appeal to me for my type of hunting and the climate here, they are not as fast as Salukis or KazakhTazi, however they are extremely robust.

While in Kazakhstan I spoke with a hunter and breeder with Taigans from Kyrgyzstan, he hunted Ibex with them and a spear in very mountainous terrain the Taigan would hold the Ibex on ledges of the mountainsides and he would come in with the spear behind the front leg/shoulder and dispatch it.

I'd love to go to Kyrgyzstan one day to hunt with Taigans if ever I can afford to.

I was offered a Taigan pup from Estonia about 5/6 years back and I really regret not taking it now. By pure coincidence the Taigan that I heard might be coming to Scotland is the very same dog I was offered as a pup.
