Serafina - young saluki bitch at play Dipping down, Front legs splayed Her back a parabola She weaves a dream in front of him Fluid as water her body flows Each strike as seamless as a single wave Her lip curls into a tapestry frieze As the feminine in her deep eye Picks its spot And with a look that would bring a lover to his knees She snaps tight shut A whisker from his ear So close he felt her sweet breath Over him So close the trust So close the fear.
