Tazi In Afghanistan

Here is a link to photos of the Tazi in afghanistan, very interesting to see. You can see more of the distinct types that make up todays afghan, the lighter build less haired desert type and then the heavier bodied more coated mountain type. The two types were bred to form todays afghans, I personally have always prefered the build of the desert type and the afghans that are on the lighter scale of amount of hair, lol.

Did you obtain any of them? It seems the term "tazi" is applied to a wide range of sighthound type dogs there. Thank you very much for sending to this link. Very interesting pictures. It is nice to know that good dogs survive there, despite all that mess in the country.
