Here is a link to photos of the Tazi in afghanistan, very interesting to see. You can see more of the distinct types that make up todays afghan, the lighter build less haired desert type and then the heavier bodied more coated mountain type. Did you obtain any of them? It seems the term "tazi" is applied to a wide range of sighthound type dogs there. Thank you very much for sending to this link. Very interesting pictures. It is nice to know that good dogs survive there, despite all that mess in the country. |
