I've read that there were some Tazi or Taigans in the uk early 1900's, but where never bred from. I would think these dogs would of been somewhat of a handful in the highly populated UK, these dogs were reported to have fierceness not found in mordern western breeds.

I have been forewarned in the past of temperament differences between modern saluki strains compared to aboriginal strains.

My own bitch can a bit of a libility at times as she is highly dominant and territorial, but prefer her temperament. I live in a rural area so it is not so bad, had my bitch ended up in a town with someone unable to take charge over her ... :o ...I could see major problems.
